Does propecia slow/stop hair loss??

Yes, it slows hair loss. It helped me a great bit retain my hair over the year I took it.

What I recommend though, IS NOT TAKING THIS DRUG! Trust me, Merck says the side effects are very rare and are limited to loss of sexual drive, loss of erection, enlarged breasts, etc.

What they don't tell you, and what many others can vouch for, is that propecia can cause depression, massive brain fog, decreased muscle mass, and increased weight gain to name a few.

I'm a currently suffering a few of those symptoms from extended propecia use. Let me tell you, it can make any day a living hell.

So please, if you really want to take this drug, go ahead and i take it. I caution you, weigh the side effects accordingly, this drug can really screw you up.

I advise browsing this website first

It will show you that it's not only I that suffer, but many other men.Does propecia slow/stop hair loss??
Propecia is a pill used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss on the vertex (top of head) and anterior mid-scalp area (middle front of head). There is not sufficient evidence that Propecia works for receding hairlines at the temples. Propecia is for use by MEN ONLY and should NOT be used by women or children.

Good luck!Does propecia slow/stop hair loss??
Yes, propecia is ok.

Generic Propecia (finasteride) is also ok. I use it with same results, and unfortunately same sides(a bit dry feeling in the scalp) as brand propecia. Have tried lots of herbal c..p before it and laser combs, so far the only thing that prevents my hairloss, not much regrowth, but has stopped my hairloss completely.

I buy from this pharmacy for the last 2 years - http://www.1rx.biz/generic_propecia.html . It is under $1 per pill as I buy the 90 pills. (89$ for 90)
my boyfriend is 25 and has been taking it for a year. hes very happy. i also see a big difference. the hair you lost wont grow back. but it should stop you from losing more. and itll grow thicker as well. try it out. his doc said that the results would appear in the first three months. if they didnt, it most likely never would. but he saw a minor difference in less than one month. its expensive though. 75$ canadian a month. talk to your dermatologist. good luck!
